the coronavirus and the restrictions regarding in-person gatherings, Half Step has been cancelled until further notice. We will continue to
monitor the situation and post updates regarding Half Step as we go.
Half Step sessions follow two alternating schedules offering a variety of opportunities. Every other week begins with a 45-minute workshop of your choice, moves into a 30-minute time of games, community, and snacks, and then finishes with 45 minutes of practicing together as a band. On opposite weeks, we work together as a choir and then transition into practicing with the choir and band all together. We play a wide variety of covers of contemporary
songs such as songs byOneRepublic, TwentyOne Pilots, Needtobreathe, and

who are willing to share their knowledge and musical experience with students

Half Step is a place for high school students
who are passionate about music, but more importantly, it is a place for
students to feel loved, accepted, and encouraged to grow in their creativity!
Half Step is open to any high school-aged student who is interested in music, photography, drama, or other performing arts. No experience, application, or fee is required. Come as you are!
